Afalase tablets for the treatment of prostatitis and adenoma

Afalase for prostatitis relieves the symptoms of the disease, increases cellular metabolism, and helps increase the body's protective properties. This is a medicine from a Russian manufacturer, which contains natural substances. It has a minimum of contraindications and side effects.

Release form and composition

The medicine for prostatitis Afalase is produced in only one dosage form - tablets. Packaged in blisters of 20 pieces. Sold in packs of 1, 2 or 5 blisters.

Affinity purified antibodies are used as active components:

  • to prostate-specific antigen (PSA);
  • to endothelial NO synthase.

One dose of the medicine contains 0.006 g of active substances.

Thanks to affinity chromatography, the antibodies got rid of the donor's DNA and excess proteins. This reduced the risk of side effects of the drug on the body.

Excipients for the production of the drug are magnesium stearate, lactose and cellulose.

This is an over-the-counter drug with a long shelf life.

Store out of reach of sunlight, at room temperature up to +25.

pharmachologic effect

Treatment of prostatitis with Afalase occurs thanks to the active substances included in the drug:

  1. Antibodies to PSA help reduce inflammation and swelling. They improve the functioning of the prostate, accelerate metabolism in the pelvic organs, and reduce the rate of development of benign formations.
  2. Antibodies to endothelial NO synthase suppress the NO synthase antigen, which causes fluid stagnation in the prostate and penis, affecting the function and condition of blood vessels.

The drug Afalase is used to treat prostate adenoma due to the complex action of active substances. When used simultaneously, they enhance each other's therapeutic effect.

As a result of taking it, the general condition improves, pain during urination is relieved, the duration of sexual intercourse increases, libido increases, seminal fluid dilutes, and sperm quality improves.

Indications

The product belongs to natural preparations for the treatment of the genitourinary system. It is prescribed for:

  • all types of prostatitis;
  • erectile dysfunction;
  • poor functioning of the urinary system (difficulty, frequent urination, pain in the lower abdomen and during urination);
  • age-related disorders in men (decreased libido, fatigue, decreased physical activity);
  • benign prostatic hyperplasia of 1 and 2 degrees (adenoma);
  • as an additional remedy, if surgery on the prostate gland is necessary (to relieve some symptoms before the intervention, and after - to accelerate regeneration).

Contraindications

The instructions indicate only one contraindication for use - personal intolerance to certain components.

It is not recommended to prescribe the drug to patients with lactose deficiency, galactosemia and lactose intolerance.

Undesirable symptoms when taking Afalase may include dyspepsia (nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain). Most often they are caused by an overdose. If side effects occur, you should stop taking the drug; the symptoms will go away in a few days.

Instructions for use

The drug is taken orally one hour before or after meals. The tablets should be kept under the tongue until completely dissolved. Do not swallow, chew or drink with water.

Afalase tablets for the treatment of prostatitis must be taken twice a day.

The manufacturer specifies a recommended course of treatment of 4 months.
