pharmachologic effect

The drug belongs to alpha1-adrenergic blockers. It has the property of blocking the action of adrenaline and norepinephrine on receptors in the circulatory system of the prostate gland and urinary organs.

Focusin helps with prostatitis to relieve spasms in the prostate tissue, which facilitates the outflow of urine. Tamsulosin promotes vasodilation - this improves blood circulation in the prostate and enhances the penetration of other medications, and also reduces the risk of complications.

Focusin for prostate adenoma relieves tension and reduces swelling. As a result, pain and discomfort when urinating are reduced.

As a result of taking the medicine, the following occurs:

  • muscle relaxation;
  • swelling is relieved;
  • small vessels dilate;
  • metabolism improves;
  • urination function improves.

Indications

The drug Fokusin is prescribed for diseases associated with urination problems. You can start taking medication only after a complete examination and diagnosis:

  • prostatitis (any etiology);
  • prostate adenoma grade 1 and 2;
  • inflammation of the urinary tract.

The medicine is effective in the early stages of benign prostatic hyperplasia, when it is still possible to do without surgery. With a more severe course of the disease, changes in blood vessels occur, and this reduces the effectiveness of the drug.

Instructions for use for prostatitis

The instructions for use of Fokusin for prostatitis indicate the dosage of the drug - 1 capsule per day. This information does not mean that you cannot deviate from the norm.

The use of Focusin for acute prostatitis is recommended in combination with other drugs: antibiotics, antispasmodics and diuretics. For acute inflammation, the course of treatment is 5-10 days. For chronic prostatitis, Focusin should be taken for 4 weeks.

The medicine should be taken once a day, in the morning after meals. You need to swallow the capsule whole with water. The integrity of the shell must not be violated, since in this case the order of absorption of the drug is disrupted.

Instructions for use for adenoma

The duration of taking Fokusin for prostate adenoma depends on the severity of the disease. Most often, improvement appears after 2 weeks of using the product. Then it is necessary to undergo additional examinations to extend the course or prescribe another treatment.
