Galavit for prostatitis stimulates the immune system, increases resistance to viruses and bacteria, and eliminates inflammation. Release form and composition

Pills
Intended for sublingual use (absorption under the tongue). Round, white with menthol aroma.
Tablets are available in a dosage of 25 mg of aminodihydrophthalazinedione sodium.
Excipients: talc, calcium stearate, lactose, sorbitol, starch, menthol.
They come in blister packs of 10 pieces, in a box there are 1 or 2 blisters.
Powder for injection
White crystalline powder, yellow tint is acceptable. The powder is intended for preparing a solution for intramuscular injections. Available in two dosages - 50 and 100 mg. Sold in boxes of 5 bottles.

- for mental disorders (as a result of alcohol or drug addiction);
- viral hepatitis;

- recurrent diseases of the ENT organs (pneumonia, bronchitis, otitis media, tonsillitis);
- surgical diseases accompanied by a purulent process (recurrent furunculosis, peritonitis, pleurisy).
Galavit for prostate adenoma is effective both before surgery to relieve symptoms and in the postoperative period. It helps to avoid the development of complications.
Contraindications
Galavit candles have virtually no contraindications. The only condition for refusing to take it may be individual intolerance to the active substance or additional components included in the composition. In this case, side effects may occur - itching, swelling, redness.
Instructions for use
Taking Galavit for the treatment of prostatitis requires no more than 100 mg of the active substance per day, regardless of the dosage form. For example, 4 tablets of 25 mg per day or 1 suppository of 100 mg.

Candles

You need to take a lying position on your side, pull your legs towards your stomach. To facilitate insertion, you can lubricate the candle with baby cream or moisten it with water. After the procedure, you need to lie down for 20-30 minutes until completely dissolved.
When using suppositories, the active substance begins to act in approximately 30 minutes. The action lasts about 3 days.
The treatment regimen with Galavit suppositories for prostatitis is as follows:
- first 5 days: 1 suppository (50 mg) 2 times a day or 1 suppository with 100 mg before bedtime;
- next 10 days: one candle every other day.
The course of treatment is 10-15 suppositories, depending on the severity of the disease.
Pills
It is recommended to use Galavit tablets for prostatitis as a last resort. Their use is possible if the use of other dosage forms is inadmissible.
The dosage remains the same as for other dosage forms - 100 mg per day. You can take 2 tablets - 2 times a day (morning and evening), or 1 tablet - 4 times a day at equal intervals.
Powder
The powder must be diluted before use. To do this, use a sodium chloride solution at a concentration of 0.9% or distilled water in an amount of 2 ml.
The injection must be given intramuscularly.
The course of treatment is 10-15 injections, it depends on the severity of the disease. Frequency of administration:
- 1st day 100 mg twice;
- then 100 mg every other day.
When used together with antibiotics, it is necessary to reduce the dose of the latter.
