Prostate extract in tablets is quickly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. But a large amount of the active substance is destroyed in the stomach, under the influence of gastric juice.

The course of treatment with tablets is from 10 to 30 days. The duration and dosage depends on the patient’s condition and is determined by the doctor.

Indications for use

The use of the drug is indicated for diseases of the male genitourinary system:

  • inflammatory processes (prostatitis, prostate adenoma);
  • diuretic problems;
  • male infertility caused by inflammation of the genitourinary system;
  • in preparation for operations and in the postoperative period;
  • to prevent exacerbations of chronic prostatitis;
  • age-related disorders.

Contraindications

The extract does not contain toxic components, so it has almost no contraindications. Side effects may include allergic reactions, including:

  • redness;
  • itching;
  • swelling.

When using suppositories, a laxative effect is observed.
