How to treat prostatitis and adenoma with chaga

Chaga (other names: tinder fungus, inonotus, birch mushroom) is a parasitic plant that appears on damaged trees, most often birches, but sometimes settles on other deciduous trees - aspen, rowan, alder, maple.

Chaga for prostatitis does not help cope with the cause of the disease, but helps reduce symptoms and prevents the development of complications.

Beneficial features

Medicinal properties are based on the chemical composition. The main active ingredient is melanin. Contains a large amount of organic acids: acetic, oxalic, formic, agaricic. It also contains many micro- and macroelements (manganese, calcium, zinc, iron), resins, polysaccharides, tannins, sterols, lignin, polysaccharides, terpenoids.

Treatment with chaga for prostate cancer has been studied in many domestic and foreign laboratories. In all cases, scientists came to the conclusion that chaga and prostate cancer (as well as oncological processes in other organs) reduce their activity and division. This is due to the presence of pterins in the composition, which have a powerful antitumor effect.

Thanks to such a rich chemical composition, tinder fungus is used in the treatment of various diseases:

  • genitourinary system;
  • oncology;
  • of cardio-vascular system;
  • metabolic disorders;
  • decreased immunity;
  • dermatological

The mushroom is useful because it has:

  • anti-inflammatory;
  • immunostimulating;
  • antitumor;
  • antiseptic;
  • hemostatic;
  • diuretic;
  • choleretic properties.

In addition, birch mushroom improves the functioning of the nervous system and has an adaptogenic effect on the body.

Caution is required when taking mushroom-based folk remedies for:

  • proneness to allergies;
  • bowel disorders (constipation, diarrhea);
  • irritable bowel syndrome;
  • taking antibiotics.

How to prepare

You can harvest raw materials at any time of the year, but it is best to do it in the fall. At this time, birch chaga accumulates the maximum amount of useful substances.

It is necessary to cut from still living trees, in environmentally friendly places, away from roads and industries. The growths on fallen trunks do not have medicinal properties. You cannot take an old mushroom (black).

After separation from the tree, it is necessary to remove the bark and crumbling parts. Dry on a stove or in the oven on a wire rack at low temperature. Can be stored for 2 years.
