How to make microenemas, decoctions and infusions of chamomile for prostatitis and adenoma

Chamomile for prostatitis and prostate adenoma helps relieve symptoms of diseases and alleviate the condition. There are several types of flowers: pharmacy, green, rock, ordinary, golden, but only pharmacy and green are used in medicine.

This plant has found its use in both folk and classical medicine. For diseases of the male genitourinary system, it is prescribed as a concomitant remedy.

You can buy a ready-made mixture at the pharmacy. It is sold as crushed flowers in a box and as a bagged tea.

Recipes

In the treatment of inflammation of the prostate gland, agents can be used for both external and internal use. Based on the inflorescences, you can prepare an infusion, decoction and tea; from the leaves you can make a solution for enemas, baths and compresses.

Infusion

To prepare chamomile infusion you will need:

  • 3 tbsp. l. dried plant;
  • 300 ml of alcohol or vodka.

You need to mix the ingredients in a glass container, then close it and leave for 5 days in the refrigerator. You need to drink 2 tbsp. l. 2 times a day for 10-14 days.

Decoction

Chamomile decoction for prostatitis is prepared as follows:

  1. Pour 5 tbsp into a container. l. dry inflorescences.
  2. Pour in 700 ml of water.
  3. Bring to a boil, cover with a lid and leave to cool.
  4. For adenoma and prostatitis, you need to drink chamomile warm, 100 ml before meals.

Tea

To make chamomile tea, you need to take only the inflorescences. There are many recipes for this drink. You can brew chamomile for prostatitis with the addition of other herbs and components that can enhance its effect. The most popular cooking methods:

  1. Classic tea. This drink requires only chamomile flowers. Pour 1 teaspoon of inflorescences into a glass of hot water and leave for 15 minutes. Drink warm 3 times a day. Larger amounts may cause diarrhea.
  2. To enhance the effect, you can drink chamomile with honey. Add 1 tsp to regular chamomile tea. honey for every 150 ml of drink and mix. If you add lemon balm or mint when brewing, you will get a good soothing and anti-inflammatory drink.
  3. Comprehensive collection. To prepare it you will need: chamomile, St. John's wort and sage. You need to mix the herbs in equal quantities, take 2 tsp. mixture and brew a glass of boiling water. Let it brew for 10 minutes and drink 1 glass half an hour before meals. The drink has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Microclysters

For microclysters, you can brew both inflorescences and leaves of the plant. A chamomile enema for prostatitis helps to achieve results much faster than decoctions and infusions, because the medicinal components are delivered in close proximity to the source of inflammation.

The composition may contain not only chamomile, but also other herbs. To prepare it, take 2 tbsp. l. raw materials, prepare a decoction with 200 ml of water and let it cool.

To administer the enema, you must take a lying position on your side. It is best to do this in the evening, before bed. The enema must be administered carefully; it is best to lubricate the tip with vegetable oil. It is acceptable to administer 50-150 ml of liquid.

During exacerbation of prostatitis, microenemas with chamomile and dimexide are considered more effective. To prepare it, add 2 ml of dimexide solution for every 50 ml of decoction.

The number of procedures is determined by the attending physician, but should not last more than 10 days, because this can disrupt the intestinal microflora.

Candles

Ready-made chamomile candles can be purchased at the pharmacy, these are:

  1. Viburcol.
  2. Economy.
  3. Biota.

Before using the drugs, you should consult with your treating urologist to prescribe the dosage and duration of the course.

You can also make ice candles at home. To do this, you need to make an infusion, freeze it in suitable shaped molds or in the fingers of rubber gloves.

When using for the first time, it is enough to hold the candle for a few minutes. Then you can leave until completely dissolved.

It is necessary to administer suppositories after bowel movements, in the evening before bedtime. The duration of the procedures is no more than 10 days.

Baths

To take chamomile baths, you need to prepare a decoction of inflorescences and leaves. Its temperature should be 37-40 °C. When sitting in a bath with infusion, you must ensure that the water covers only the lower abdomen.

The duration of the appointment is 20 minutes, and the number of procedures should not exceed 10 per month.
